Who are we?
SCARS Inc. is an organization created by first responders, for first responders. An organization that promotes a safe place for first responders to have real, honest, open discussions in a judgment free zone. A place where "it's okay to not be okay". With the help and support of fellow first responders, mental health specialists, therapists, or any other service that we can help direct you towards in your time of need. Established in 2023 with the intent to give back to our brothers and sisters in the public safety sector and front-line workers alike. To establish and maintain open lines of communication, to assist personnel and agencies with mental health resiliency, CISD consultation and services, and training for our members with the purpose of creating strike teams to be at any agency in short amount of time when needed for any situation that would require our services. It's time to break the stigma, it's time to learn self-care, and it's time to reshape the health of those that have taken care of everyone else.
